Bianchi competition

The Bianchi competition is a well established handgun discipline. It has now been developed to include other firearms such as Semi Auto and Lever Action Rifles. The NTSA have also taken on the discipline and run an annual Championships which combines all three ammunition types.

The annual NTSA Bianchi Championships took place at North Cotes Butts in early October.

The match consisted of the Practical Match, requiring 24 rounds of slug. The Buckshot match requiring 12 rounds and the Plates Match, using 24 rounds of birdshot. There are a number of other competitions which can be used in a Bianchi match, check out the NTSA Approved Courses of fire.

The Championships recognised winners of each of the three elements of the match as well as the overall winners.
