The Bianchi competition is a well established handgun discipline. It has now been developed to include other firearms such as Semi Auto and Lever Action Rifles. The NTSA have also taken on the discipline and run an annual Championships which combines all three ammunition types. The annual NTSA Bianchi Championships took place at North Cotes Butts in early October. The match consisted of the Practical Match, requiring 24 rounds of slug. The Buckshot match requiring 12 rounds and the Plates Match, using 24 rounds of birdshot. The NTSA, working with various clubs run a series of Championship and other matches throughout the United Kindom. All matches are open to shooters who are eligible to shoot the firearms and ammunition required within each competition. NTSA members receive a discount on the entry fees.
